With more than 100 years of experience as shipbroker and port agent, Frachtcontor employs over 100 people in several countries, offering a full service to charterers and shipowners around the clock.

Our Dry Cargo team organises the transport of approx. 60m. tons of cargo annually – from coasters of 1,000 dwt to bulkcarriers of over 300,000 dwt. In 2013 we have opened Frachtcontor Americas with an own office in Florida/US in order to reach our clients in South and Middle America including the Caribbean better within the same geographical time zone.

Frachtcontor-Essberger Tanker Brokers GmbH & Co. KG, our Tanker team, is responsible for the chartering of crude oil, oil products, edible oils and chemicals on the international spot and long-term market.

Our Port Agencies handle about 2,500 vessels annually.

We have an experienced team to look after the Sale and Purchase of ships of all types and sizes.

Our subsidiary Poseidon Schiffahrt GmbH has been active as Commercial Manager for tankers and bulkers for many years.
